Albireo Font Family

Albireo Font Family is a typeface designed for moments when you have more to say than space on the page. It also looks fantastic spread across the page as if space doesn’t matter. Expertly crafted with a keen eye for detail, Albireo is a very practical and adaptable typeface that’s neutral enough to work almost anywhere a highly condensed, sans-serif typeface is needed. Despite its practical nature, it definitely has style. It really stands out when used for headlines or subheadings in magazines, brochures, posters, newspapers, flyers, or online. With 42 weights, widths, and italics, there’s plenty of flexibility to fit every word perfectly. You can buy individual fonts or save money by purchasing packs of the 14 fonts in each width (Extra Condensed, Condensed, or Semi-Condensed). Save even more by buying the full collection, which includes the 42 separate fonts and two variable fonts (upright and italic) covering all weights, widths, and everything in between. So, where does the name come from? Look up at the summer night sky. Albireo is a binary star in the constellation Cygnus. Through a backyard telescope, the star appears as two brilliant components—one orange and one blue. The idea for the typeface started when I needed a newspaper headline about space exploration. I couldn’t find the right typeface, so I drew my own letters and eventually expanded them into an entire type family.
