PT Sans Pro Font Family is a versatile font designed to adapt beautifully across different design styles, offering dependable readability and balance. PT Sans Pro is a comprehensive type family designed for a wide range of applications. It consists of 32 styles: 12 (6 upright + 6 italic) of normal proportions; 6 narrow, 6 condensed, 6 extra condensed, and 2 caption styles.

The design merges a traditional, conservative appearance with contemporary humanist sans serif trends. PT Sans Pro offers enhanced legibility, particularly in its caption styles. Besides its conventional use in business applications, branding, printed materials, web design, and packaging, these features make the fonts highly suitable for direction and guide signs, maps, and other elements of urban visual communication.

Each style contains about 1,400 characters, including small capitals for all alphabets, several sets of figures with lining and old-style variations, indices, fractions, and more useful OpenType features. PT Sans Pro includes extended Latin and extended Cyrillic character sets.

It was designed at Paratype by Alexandra Korolkova, with the assistance of Olga Umpeleva and under the supervision of Vladimir Yefimov.
